My Research

I specialize in developing techniques to study the dynamics within agricultural value chains, particularly using Input-Output and Shift-Share models. My work examines how changes in these value chains affect the use of natural resources, such as water and land, with an emphasis on regional development. This interdisciplinary approach enables me to address sustainable resource management challenges across various regions, such as the Southwest in the United States and South America.  I have also worked with randomized control trials (RCTs) to evaluate the impact of public policy prototypes related to food security, recycling, and trust in Paraguay.​
